The course focuses on theology proper (God, Trinity, creation, providence) and anthropology (man, Fall, sin). This theological survey on the doctrine of God and the doctrine of man will rely heavily upon both biblical and historical insights as well. Students will be encouraged to understand the importance of these doctrines for life and godliness. Do you want to know more about the attributes of God? Do you want to study His character more deeply? Then this is the class for you. To register, please contract Registrar Kim Lee at klee@rts.edu. The audit fee for this three-hour course is $150.Systematic Theology I will be taught this fall by Dr. Ligon Duncan, the Distinguished Visiting Professor of Systematic and Historical Theology at RTS Jackson, Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian Jackson, and plenary speaker at the popular conference Together for the Gospel (T4G).
