How Black Gospel Music is Changing Hearts in Japan

Mission to the World (MTW) has published an article that shares the surprising popularity of black gospel music in Japan, and the ways in which it is being used in ministry to the Japanese people. The piece, written by Andrew Shaughnessy, shares the testimony of RTS Jackson graduate Harauki Odate ("O-Chan") and his wife Asami, who both came to know Christ through singing black gospel music in church choirs in Tokyo.

You can read about O-Chan's story, and how it points to the larger work of missionaries in Japan, on MTW's website.
