The son of a PCA Ruling Elder, Brian Gault grew up in Maryland and came to RTS Jackson in 1995 to be the Director of Admissions after pursuing a Master of Divinity at RTS Orlando.  While at RTS Jackson, he completed a Th.M. in Old Testament and became Adjunct Instructor at Belhaven College in Biblical Studies in 2001.  In 2002, Brian became a Guest Lecturer at RTS and taught Hebrew, and in 2003, he accepted the additional role of Dean of Students.  In 2005, Brian was approved as Adjunct Faculty at RTS and teaches in the Old Testament Department.  His Ph.D. dissertation is on the final Davidic voice of Book V of the Psalms (Pss 138-145).

Brian and his family worship at Providence Presbyterian Church in Clinton where he serves as a Ruling Elder.  Brian and his wife, Leigh, have six girls between them.  Brian’s hobbies include a wide variety of games, gardening, and both watching and playing all kinds of sports (especially basketball).
