Missions

“Missions” is the sovereign work of God in reconciling the lost to himself through Jesus Christ by the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. This reconciliation is brought about for and through every member of the Body of Christ. The Missions program at RTS trains and equips competent missions-minded pastors and Christian workers to serve the Church of Jesus Christ in North America and overseas to fulfill our calling to make disciples of all nations. Our M.Div. in Missions offers training for the pastoral ministry with an intercultural emphasis for those interested in extending their local pastoral ministries through evangelism, effective preaching and church planting at home and cross-culturally. Missions courses focus our attention on the work of reconciliation, here or overseas, in the world that God has given us as our “mission field.”
