Reformed Theological Seminary serves a wide constituency from all over the world with over a thousand students on its seven campuses. The range of students in the MFTC program over the last five years includes 59% women, 41% men, 10% African-American, 86% Caucasian, 1% Latino. Seventeen denominations have been represented. Student ages range between 21 and 59.
The MFTC faculty is 65% men, 35% women, 100% Caucasian, 65% have Ph. D.s, 35% have MA degrees. All are licensed professionals with an average of 12 years’ teaching experience and 19 years of clinical experience.
Our onsite clinic serves 1,000 client-families a year. Clients are 66% Caucasian, 33% African-American, 1% other, range in age from 5 to over 70 years old and come from every socio-economic level. Off campus student internship sites include places such as addiction recovery units, outpatient mental health facilities, crisis pregnancy centers, churches and equine therapy facilities.
