Student Life In Jackson2007 Luau On Friday, August 24, 2007, the Student Cabinet hosted the annual Luau at the seminary townhomes to kickoff the new academic year. Over 200 hot dogs/hamburgers were grilled and eaten, and the students had a time of fellowship under the shade of the big oak tree which took the edge off of a humid Mississippi summer evening. The Slip-n-Slide also provided relief from the heat for kids of all ages. Many introductions were made, good food was eaten, and fun was had by all.
