Women in Ministry

"We are God's work of art, created in Christ Jesus to devote ourselves to the good deeds for which God has designed us."  --Ephesians 2:10

The commitment of RTS is to train men and women for ministry, therefore, Women in Ministry exists to help wives of RTS students prepare themselves for ministry with their husbands.  Couples working for Christ and His kingdom need a combined effort and united vision more than those entering any other profession.

Though this program is designed specifically for the wives of students, the other women on campus are welcomed and encouraged to participate as their schedules allow them.  The fellowship and friendship aspect of this program is a decided enrichment for all women.

We gather weekly for teaching, fellowship and prayer.  These weekly meetings have an emphasis on developing a servant heart and mindset, a consistent prayer life, Bible study, gifts recognition, development in the marriage relationship and in parenting are some of the primary topics of these years.  In addition, each year, members of the RTS faculty are invited to speak on Biblical and theological topics to undergird Biblical understanding and knowledge.

Meetings are on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Women in Ministry room inside Patterson's Porch.  This year's calendar can be found here.
