Tuition and related costs at RTS are intentionally kept at an affordable level because of the generous support of the church and friends of the seminary. It is customary for students to graduate without incurring indebtedness for their seminary education. RTS is distinct in this important aspect of preparing students for successful ministry.
If the Lord is calling you into His service, you can be assured that He will provide for your financial needs at seminary and beyond. On the solid foundation of God's promise "to meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus," you can begin to plan ways to finance your seminary education. Resources available to RTS students include a variety of RTS financial aid and scholarship programs, a work/study program, and Outside sources of Financial Aid. RTS financial aid includes:
- General Assistance Tuition Grant
- Deacon's Fund Grant
- Minister's Family Assistance Grant
- Campus Minister Assistance Grant
- President's Scholarship

The Church Partnership ProgramThe Church Partnership Program fosters intimate involvement of the student's home church with the students and with the seminary. Though the student is always responsible for his/her financial commitments to the seminary, this innovative matching funds program allows the church and the seminary to share in the student's financial support. Churches that are able to pay a student's entire tuition are encouraged to do so for the sake of the student and the seminary. However, RTS will enter into a partnership with a church that is unable to fund the entire tuition amount but does provide partial tuition support .
In addition, if you find it necessary to work while attending seminary, Jackson, Orlando, Charlotte, Washington/Baltimore, and Atlanta offer ample opportunities for employment (see the Internet links on each campus page for employment resources). Numerous ministry positions regularly become available in area churches. | |
