The Rev. Dr. Jon D. Payne is church planter and organizing pastor of Christ Church Presbyterian (PCA) in Charleston, South Carolina. Formerly, he served as senior pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Douglasville [Atlanta], Georgia (2003-2013). He is the Convener for the Gospel Reformation Network, council member for the Twin Lakes Fellowship, and advisory board member for the Center for Church Planting at RTS Charlotte. In addition to his ministry stateside, he travels overseas regularly for the cause of world missions, church planting, and discipleship.
Dr. Payne enjoys running, soccer, reading history, travel, long walks with his wife, and all things Clemson. He has been married to Marla for 19 years and they have two children, Mary Hannah and Hans.
