Jackson Faculty and Staff to Lecture in Race and the Church Series



Sean Lucas, RTS Jackson Professor of Church of History, and Jemar Tisby, Director of AALI and Special Assistant to the Chancellor, will lecture along with others in the Race and the Church lecture series beginning this January. The lectures will take place at various locations across Richmond, VA over the next year and will address topics such as race, ethnicity, social justice, and multi-ethnic or urban ministry within a gospel-centered framework. 

Lucas' talk on January 30 will address race, history, and corporate sin and repentance. Tisby's talk on July 16 will address the #blacklivesmatter movement. Other speakers include Carl Ellis, Jr., Karen Ellis, Alexander Jun, Léonce Crump, David Prince, and George Robertson. Details and registration can be found here
