Summer Hebrew with Jonathan Kiel

We are excited to welcome RTS Jackson alum Jonathan Kiel as a guest professor for our Summer Institute of Biblical Languages! He will be offering Hebrew I and II, which will be taught concurrently with Dr. Gladd's Greek I and II courses.

Jonathan Kiel entered vocational ministry after working several years as an engineer. He graduated from RTS Jackson (MA, MDiv) in 2010, and moved with his family to Louisville, KY to complete a Ph.D. in Old Testament at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His primary research covers Classical Hebrew grammar and linguistics. While in Louisville, Jonathan has worked in various roles including as a graduate assistant to his advisor, teaching seminary courses at RTS, and working for SBTS's Research Doctoral Studies Office. For the last year, he has worked as the Ministry Coordinator for his church, Redeemer Presbyterian PCA. Jonathan and his wife, Corrie, have three children, Samuel (7), Miriam (5), and Charlotte (4), and are members of Redeemer, where Jonathan also serves as a Ruling Elder.
