Who comes to seminary and why?

Some students are seeking training for ministries as pastors or counselors, and others are looking for a deeper walk with God. However God is calling you to be a part of building His kingdom, RTS can help you fulfill His call.

What can I do with my degree after I graduate?

After graduation, many minister in a church or missionary organization. Others go on to further schooling such as a ThM or PhD in order to teach. A degree from RTS has endless possibilities of application.
How much does seminary cost?

Tuition and related costs at RTS are intentionally kept at an affordable level because of the generous support of the church and friends of the seminary. Tuition is $435/credit hour. You may audit classes for $50/credit hour.
How do I pay for seminary?

The financing of a RTS degree is, above all, a trusting in and a reliance on God’s provision. Students finance their studies through their personal resources, the support of their home church, family and friends, and through RTS financial aid.
Is there student housing available?

RTS has apartments available to rent to students at affordable prices, located at Villas at Lakeside, less than 5 miles from campus. Units are 2 bedrooms and include a washer and dryer in the unit. Plus, the apartments are a great way to build community with other students.

What’s life like for spouses and families of students in seminary?

We recognize that spouses and families are also making a commitment when one member of the family goes to seminary. We seek to minister to families by providing opportunities to connect and groups for support and friendship.
Can I do part of my degree online?

Yes! Our degrees are flexible to fit your schedule. MDiv students can complete up to 52 credit hours online, MA students can do up to 32 credits online. MA Counseling students can do the 14 credits of biblical electives online.
