(ATLANTA,GA) March 29, 2011 Dr. Paul Kooistra, Coordinator of Mission to the World (MTW), and Dr. Paul Gardner, Sr. Pastor of ChristChurch Presbyterian in Atlanta, are among the ministry presenters this spring for the Field Education program at RTS Atlanta. The seminary arranges for seasoned ministry leaders to participate in the encouragement and equipping of the next generation of leaders.
On Thursday, April 7, Dr. Paul Gardner will be the featured speaker. Dr. Gardner is a graduate of RTS and Cambridge and in addition to his many years in the pastorate he has previously served as a seminary professor, and as the Archdeacon of Exeter in the Church of England.
On Thursday, May 5, Dr. Paul Kooistra will open up the calling of missions to our students. Dr. Kooistra has served for many years as the Coordinator of MTW, the sending agency of the Presbyterian Church in America. MTW is a Reformed missions agency that focuses especially on partnering with or initiating global church planting movements.
The seminars take place from 4 pm until 5 pm on the campus of RTS Atlanta and are open to all RTS students.
