Dr. Robert C. (Ric)Cannada, Jr. is Chancellor Emeritus of Reformed Theological Seminary and an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America.  For over 10 years Ric led RTS as Chancellor with five residential Campuses, an extension campus, Virtual Campus, and three international D.Min. degree programs.

Known personally as Ric, Dr. Cannada is a native of Jackson, MS. He received a BA degree from Vanderbuilt University and M.Div. and DMin from RTS. He served as a pastor for twenty years in Presbyterian churches in Clinton, SC; Little Rock, AR; and Macon, GA. He was named Executive Vice President of RTS campuses in 1998 and President in 2002. He became RTS Chancellor and CEO in 2004 when the seminary restructured to establish presidents on each campus under his leadership until 2012.

He is Senior Advisor to the Relita Harapan Educational Foundation (YPPH) in Indonesia. Ric and his wife, Rachel, have two children and seven grandchildren.

John Reed Miller Lectures - Jackson Campus

Dr. Sinclair B. Ferguson is the speaker for the John Reed Miller Lectures Tuesday, October 30, Wednesday, October 31, and Thursday, November 1.

 Dr. Ferguson is a native of Scotland and earned his PH.D at the University of Aberdeen. He was minister of two churches in Scotland, on the island of Unst and in St. George's-Tron, as well as serving in the USA at First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, S.C. He was for many years Professor of Systematic Theology at Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia and at Redeemer Seminary in Dallas. He has authored around fifty books and contributed to many others. He and his wife Dorothy have three sons and a daughter and eleven grandchildren.
