The Presbytery of the Mississippi Valley (PCA) Hosts Credentials Luncheon - Jackson Campus

On Tuesday, October 28 in Patterson's Porch, presbytery credentials committee representatives will be present to walk new-ish students through the process of ordination into the PCA. The meeting will be discussion based and have time for Q&A.

While the process of ordination isn't necessarily identical for every student (varied denominations and presbyteries), even students who are not planning on entering the PCA should plan to attend. This meeting is a good opportunity to learn why certain procedures exist (hint: to protect you, the local church, and the presbyteries!) and the timelines given for students preparing for ordination will help all students. If you are planning on ordination into the PCA, this meeting is a priceless chance to make sure you're on track. You don't want to be the student who thinks all it takes is a degree only to find out upon graduation you have another two years of presbytery work ahead of you.

Please make plans to attend. Lunch will be paid for by the presbytery.
