In 1989 Tim Keller planted Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan with his wife, Kathy. Today Redeemer serves more than five thousand regular attendees at five services throughout the city. In 2001 Keller started Redeemer City to City which planted over 300 churches in 45 cities. He has written numerous books including The Reason for God, Skepticism, The Prodigal God, Counterfeit Gods, and Center Church.    

Visitors-and especially area pastors- are welcome to join us. The lectures are free to those who want to attend. For more information about attending these lectures, please contact the Admissions office at 601-923-1672 or admissionsjackson@rts.edu 

Dr. Keller will be preaching an evangelistic message at First Presbyterian Church Wednesday, November 12. The service will start at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary.

AALI Hosts "Ministering to the City" - Jackson Campus

AALI will be hosting a campus-wide seminar on the topic of "Ministering to the City" on Monday, November 17 from 5-8 pm in Patterson's Porch with Steve Lanier and Neddie Winters.

Steve Lanier serves as the Assistant to the Pastor at Redeemer Church in Jackson. He spent more than 20 years with Youth for Christ before he joined the ministry staff at Trinity Presbyterian Church. When Trinity planted Redeemer in 2004, Steve went with the church plant to serve Redeemer. He earned his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from RTS Jackson in 1988.

Neddie Winters serves as the President of Mission Mississippi and has served as the Senior Pastor of Voice of Calvary Fellowship Church.  Mission Mississippi is a ministry committed to racial reconciliation and healing in the Gospel through personal relationships here in Mississippi and around the world. In 1962 John Perkins founded Voice of Calvary Ministries as a non-profit Christian Community Development organization in Mendenhall, MS. In 1975 Voice of Calvary Ministries expanded to Jackson and Voice of Calvary Fellowship Church was planted.

Join us Monday, November 17 from 5-8 pm in Patterson's Porch as Steve Lanier and Neddie Winters host a training session and Q&A.
