"What is the main emphasis of RTS Atlanta's graduate theological program?"

That is a good question. After all, we strive for excellence and relevance in every course that we teach. By making available to our students some of the most outstanding theological teachers in the country, we are able to offer a multitude of courses in Biblical and Theological Studies, in Church History, in Apologetics, and in Practical Theology.

Not only are our professors renowned, but our students represent solid evidence of what our Lord is accomplishing within His church. Inquisitive and motivated men and women from a refreshing array of backgrounds and vocations gather for one purpose - to learn more about the God of their salvation, while sharpening their tools for ministry and for life.

And really, that outlines the true focus of the Atlanta campus of Reformed Theological Seminary - knowing and serving our covenant Lord!

If you have a thirst to learn more about the Lord Jesus Christ - and about service in His kingdom - perhaps RTS Atlanta is the place where you can accomplish your academic and personal theological goals. Our classes are offered in a variety of convenient formats, ranging from short-term intensive classes, to nights and weekends, all the way to traditional semester-long courses. Built upon the solid foundation of the Word of God, our fully-accredited Master of Divinity and Master of Arts courses either can be taken on an occasional basis, or may be applied to the superb degree programs offered on all of the RTS campuses.

Our graduates particularly have told us how much they have appreciated being able to complete their degree programs entirely in Atlanta, and often by taking courses in the evening and on weekends. Rather than uprooting their families, changing their jobs, and leaving their churches, RTS Atlanta's flexible course delivery system has allowed our students and graduates to balance family, ministry, vocation, and education in the company of likeminded followers of our Risen Lord.

While we maintain relationships with many denominations and ecclesiastical traditions, the winsome, interdenominational character of our institution provides a venue for discovering God's Word and loving God's people in a stimulating atmosphere of responsible spiritual and academic freedom.
