Welcome to RTS Houston!

Is God calling you to become better prepared to share the good news of Jesus Christ?  Is He calling you to a deeper communion with Him as you walk in His plan of good works designed specifically for you (Eph. 2:10)?  Or do you just feel a need for deeper spiritual formation even though you do not yet know in what direction He is leading?  Whether as a pastor, missionary, church leader, painter, plumber, housewife, lawyer, pilot, accountant etc, such a high calling demands a Christ-centered, Biblical, and theologically sound preparation. At RTS Houston that is exactly what you can expect to receive!

RTS Houston is called to be a theologically rich, culturally diverse, and church-centered community of learning and spiritual formation for Houston, Texas, the Western United States, and the world!  RTS Houston is committed to teaching the infallible and inerrant Word of God.  We dedicate ourselves as an instrument in His hands to facilitate the spiritual formation of the future leaders of all churches regardless of denominational affiliation, spanning all peoples, tribes, nations, and languages!

RTS Houston is independent of any church or denominational oversight.  But because of the generous and enthusiastic support of Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church ( http://www.cepc.org/ ), RTS Houston is located on their campus in the heart of the Houston metroplex. Their pastoral staff is committed to working with RTS-Houston faculty and staff to provide an authentic setting for encouragement, tutorial counsel and pastoral advice for students as they progress through their preparations. The whole church family is looking forward to developing a strong community relationship with each student to the full extent he or she may desire. It is their hope that RTS Houston will be a model for theological training within the local church context where theory and life can meet authentically for the glory of God.
