History proves it: God uses students to change the world. But not just any students--students led by the Holy Spirit, armed with the Word of God and passionate about changing their world.
Martin Luther may not have known it, but his life certainly demonstrated it; his energetic and inquisitive pleas for spiritual renewal at the University of Wittenberg marked him as a transformational leader of the highest degree. His combination of theological understanding, passion for God's glory and love for the Christian Church drove him to work tirelessly toward transformation. And the world still feels the reverberations of the spiritual movement he started--the Protestant Reformation.
Later on in Geneva, Switzerland, John Calvin followed in Luther's footsteps. He influenced thousands of lives as the classic pastor-scholar at St. Peter's Church. His legacy continues to touch millions more. Through the University of Geneva, a school he founded, Calvin taught and shaped missionaries and pastors, people who knew themselves, knew their Lord and knew the needs of their lost world.
We at RTS-Orlando boldly stand in the tradition of Luther and Calvin. We believe that spiritual movements begin with passionate hearts and orthodox faith. We believe that together we form a transformational confessing community, a place in which the Word of God is lifted up, hearts and minds are spiritually formed, and students are sent out into the world to make a difference.
