FIRST YEAR 2ST502 Introduction to Pastoral and Theological Studies 3 2ST504 History Philosophy & Christian Thought 2 2ST510 Systematic Theology I: Scripture & Theology 3  8   2NT508 Gospels 4 2OT508 Genesis - Joshua 3 2ST514 Systematic Theology II: Anthropology & Christology 2 9 SECOND YEAR 2HT502 History of Christianity I 3 2ST520 Systematic Theology III: Soteriology & Eschatology 3 2ST530 Apologetics 2 8   2ST524 Systematic Theology IV: Ecclesiology & Sacraments 2 2 2HT504 History of Christianity II 3 2HT506 Church & World 3 2NT518 Acts & Pauline Epistles 4 2ST528 Pastoral & Social Ethics 3 13   Biblical Studies Students who select the Biblical Studies emphasis area in the Master of Arts degree program should adjust to the core curriculum as indicated below. In addition, the MABS student must take 12 hours in biblical studies, which may include Greek and/or Hebrew, plus 7 hours of free electives. Add the following required courses: NT522 Hebrews - Revelation (3 hrs) OT514 Judges - Poets (4 hrs) OT516 Isaiah - Malachi (3 hrs) Drop the following required courses: ST528 Pastoral and Social Ethics (3 hrs)   Christian Thought Students who select the Christian Thought emphasis area in the Master of Arts degree program should adjust to the core curriculum as indicated below. In addition, the MACT student must take 8 hours of Christian Thought electives, 6 hours of free electives and 11 hours of biblical studies electives. The 11 hours of biblical studies must include at least one of the following courses: Genesis - Joshua, Judgets - Poets, Isaiah - Malachi, Gospels, Acts & Pauline Epistles, or Hebrews - Revelation. Add the following required courses: CT502 Philosophy of Science (3 hrs) CT504 Clash of Cultures (3 hrs) CT506 History of Epistemology (3 hrs) CT508 Modern Philosophy and the Christian Faith (3 hrs) Drop the following required courses: NT508 Gospels (4 hrs) NT518 Acts - Pauline Epistles (4 hrs) OT508 Genesis - Joshua (3 hrs)   Theological Studies Students who select the Theological Studies emphasis area in the Master of Arts degree program should adjust to the core curriculum as indicated below. In addition, the MATS student must take 11 hours in theology and/or history, plus 11 hours of free electives. Add the following required course: OT514 Judges - Poets (4 hrs)
