Local Housing Options

The Atlanta campus is strategically situated near two major freeways and nestled in the midst of 29 apartment complexes within a 3 mile radius.  This means students can access campus from virtually anywhere in the city in under 30 minutes or, if students desire to live near campus, they have a wealth of affordable options and amenities from which to choose.

Apartments

While apartment pricing is never predictable, the common range for apartments near campus is:

1BR's from $400 - $800/mo
2BR's from $525 - $900/mo
3BR's from $730 - $1,200/mo

A few locations in which students have lived include:

Rockledge Apartments
Wildwood Ridge
Walton on the Chattahoochee
Abbington Pointe
Barrington Mill
Wood Hollow
Vinings Palisades
Post Crest

Some locations are on the Chattahoochee River and have walking access to state parks, hiking, running, and biking trails.  All locations are 5 minutes from the Vinings and Cumberland area as well as the intersection of I-75 and I-285.

In addition, we're happy to encourage our students to consider partnering with ApartmentLife.  ApartmentLife is a national ministry that provides missional opportunities for Christians in apartment complexes across Atlanta.  This is an especially strategic option for seminary students; the apartment complex provides community and ministry opportunities and the ministry provides affordable housing (~$250/mo).  If interested you can contact Katie Gordon at ApartmentLife for more information.

Single Family Homes

If you're interested in renting a single family home, tranquil neighborhoods within a 5-10 minute drive from campus offer various floorplan accomodations.  Two areas in particular offer a number of quality single family homes with neighborhood parks, walking trails, and a more laid-back suburban feel.  You can investigate them by driving northeast of campus to Terrell Mill Road, Lower Roswell Road and Old Canton Road or you can drive west to Smyrna around the Smyrna Market Village.
