Description of the Lectures
How are Christ’s resurrection and ascension significant for him personally? How is his exaltation essential for basic issues in the individual appropriation of salvation and the Christian life? These lectures will consider Paul’s apostolic teaching for its bearing on these questions, along with some attention to key issues for interpreting Paul today.

Invitation from Our Academic Dean
It is our great privilege to welcome Dr. Richard B. Gaffin, Jr. to deliver the 2015 Kistemaker Academic Lecture Series at RTS Orlando. Throughout his distinguished career of service to the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Dr. Gaffin has been one of the leading voices in the integration of biblical and systematic theology. His topic this year, “The Exaltation of Christ and Salvation in the Theology of Paul,” promises to provide deeper insights into the writings of the Apostle Paul and also into the nature of the salvation that is ours in Jesus Christ, our crucified and risen Lord and Savior.
Please join us as we engage this vital topic. The lectures are free and open to the public. We look forward to seeing you.
