Reformed Theological Seminary - missiology
Missiology is an area of practical theology that investigates the work of the Christian missionary. The study of missiology is intended to make the student more effective in presenting the Gospel both to his own culture and to cultures around the globe. Our focus on Christian missions begins with the Great Commission. Jesus Christ commands the Church to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. The study of missiology strives to integrate insights from the exegesis of the bible, communications theory, Christian apologetics, history, and other disciplines to help the student become effective in obeying the command of Jesus Christ. Missiology can be an important tool for the Christian missionary.
